Should you opt for coal or firewood?
Both types have their benefits. Coal burns for far longer than wood, and at a more predictable rate and a higher temperature. Using firewood, on the other hand, has a better ‘look’ to it. Why are hardwood logs better than softwood ones?
The hardwood logs, which we stock, are burn for longer than softwood ones, and will generate heat for a much longer period of time. They also don’t produce as many sparks or as much smoke, which is better for your health and safety. For more information, see our previous post here.
